Sencha green tea is a Japanese speciality, known for its subtle grassy notes and slight sweetness. The tea leaves are harvested in spring time then briefly steamed. This preserves the fresh herbal flavour. The dried thin leaves are rolled into a needle shape.
To brew sencha tea, steep one sachet in water at 70C for two minutes.Â
