This elegant condiment spoon has a long, slim handle and a pointed tip – ideal for serving chutneys, mustard, jams and honey. You could also use it for scooping salt, sugar and spices. The design is inspired by Zanzibar and the architecture found along the Swahili coast. Made from African blackwood, this hand carved spoon will add a touch of natural beauty to any modern kitchen.
Each piece is handmade by artisans in Mtwara, Tanzania. As each scoop is individually carved, there may be slight variations in the shape and size, making it one of a kind. Some of the paddles feature a two-toned natural grain, showcasing the natural beauty of African Blackwood.
