The Messermeister Overland chef’s knife is a serious tool for outdoor cooking. The rugged and versatile knife features an ultra-tough canvas handle. The handle is designed for good grip and the micarta material means it won’t get as slippery as other knives might while wet. It also has an eyelet for a lanyard at the bottom of the handle, which also functions as a bottle opener.

This compact knife still offers the same premium quality of larger Messermeister blades:

• It is made of nitro-B steel and ranks 62 on the Rockwell hardness scale, meaning your knife will hold its sharp edge for longer before needing sharpening, making for a compact knife that still offers a powerful and controlled cut. 

• The blade is sharpened at a 16-degree angle for an even and sharp edge from heel to tip.
