Mayata’s Grand Cru d’Exception Colombia Paramillo Flor 72% dark chocolate couverture drops are a true dark chocolate with fruit and roasted nut flavours. Balanced and bittersweet, this rich chocolate has hints of tropical fruit and a roasted hazelnut finish.

These couverture drops are extra-small which means they melt effortlessly and with the glossiest finish. They are ideal for both in professional kitchens and home bakers. Whip into an indulgent chocolate mousse, bake into gooey cookies or drizzle over elegant Pâtisseries. 

This chocolate couverture derives from a hybrid variety of centrally fermented Trinitario cocoa. Trinitario is a finer bean that makes for a smoother chocolate. These cocoa beans have a medium acidity which is well-balanced with notes of aromatic nutmeg. 

Produced in the Antioquia region of Colombia, the farmers of these beans have been growing this variety for centuries. 200 shareholders strive to use sustainable farming practices in all their cocoa production. 35% of their cohort is now women. The post-harvest process is strictly controlled to ensure only the finest quality is produced.
