The Emile Henry ciabatta baker is specially designed to make Italy’s famous artisan loaves. Using a simple dough recipe, you can enjoy freshly baked ciabatta at home – perfect for sandwiches or dunking in minestrone soup.
Made from high quality ceramic, the baker has two cavities which produce two evenly shaped loaves. The domed lid traps steam while the bread bakes, creating an environment similar to a steam oven. This allows the bread to expand and gives it a crisp, chewy crust. Once cooled, your ciabatta loaves are easy to slice, revealing a perfectly soft, moist centre.
Fill your ciabatta with thinly sliced mortadella or toast it and top with juicy tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
The baker’s deep grooves work for other soft dough types, including gluten-free dough.
The ciabatta maker measures 39cm. It is dishwasher safe.
