The De Buyer fluted rectangle tart mould with loose base is just what you need to make sweet or savoury tarts, quiches or pies for a party. It’s much simpler to portion rectangular bakes than round ones, so it’s easier to make sure everyone has an equal-sized helping.
The large 36cm mould is made from iron, giving you excellent heat conductivity. This means your bakes cook evenly and caramelise for an appetising golden-brown finish. It has a steel coating to protect against rust and a non-stick finish. Coupled with the loose base, this makes it a breeze to release your finished bakes from the mould.
To keep your fluted rectangle mould in top condition, avoid using metal utensils. Use wood or silicone instead to prevent scratches.
Grease before use. Suitable for oven temperatures up to 220°C. Hand wash only and avoid abrasive cleaners.
