The Safari Chef 30 range from Cadac is regarded as one of the UK’s top camping stoves. This grill has foldable legs for easy portability and a push-button Piezo ignition to light with a single click.Â
Offering multiple interchangeable cooking surfaces, the grill comes with a ceramic coated barbecue grid, a flat grill plate and an enamelled dome lid which doubles as a pot for cooking. There is also a removable pot stand for use with your own kettle and pans. This is a single stove that covers every cooking technique – on the go!Â
The Safari Chef barbecue weighs less than 4kg, making it ideal for camping, picnics and beach trips.
The Safari Chef 30 is also available as part of a bundle that includes a cleaning kit, cookbook and paella pan.
Do I need anything else to get started?Â
Yes! You’ll just need a gas canister (or three, depending on the size), and a connector. Let us explain more:Â
The Safari Chef 30 barbecue uses on the go fuel, which can be tailored to your barbecue needs. One 500g self-sealing disposable gas cartridge can be paired with the Threaded Cartridge Regulator QR. For a longer lasting flame and cook time, two 500g self-sealing disposable gas cartridges can be hooked up to your barbecue using the Dual Power Pack QR. Any brand of self-sealing butane/propane 500g gas canisters – with a standard EN417 screw thread and safety value – can be used.
An alternative form of disposable, on-the-go fuel that is compatible with the Safari Chef 30 are 227g gas cartridges. Three of these will need to be used at one time, connected to the Safari Chef 30 barbecue using the Trio Power Pack QR. Any brand of 227g butane gas cartridges can be used.
