Cadac Citi Chef 40 Black

The Citi Chef 40 is the perfect compact barbecue grill for anyone with limited space. It is designed for balconies, terraces and patios, so you are not limited from the joys of outdoor cooking if you don’t have a garden or backyard. You can also take it on the go – it makes a brilliant camping stove. 

The Citi Chef is incredibly versatile; use it for barbecuing, stewing, frying and even baking. The stand can be removed to use with your own pots and pans or mix and match with other modular elements of the Cadac range. It comes with a ceramic-coated barbecue grid and a porcelain enamelled fat pan that is non-stick and wipes clean. The Citi Chef makes cooking outdoors totally hassle-free.

The City Chef 40 is also available as part of a bundle which contains a pizza stone, tapas set and cookbook.

Do I need anything else to get started? 

If you plan to use a large refillable Butane or Propane gas bottle at home, you have three options:

1. At the simplest, you can connect the bottle to your Citi Chef 40 using a hose and regulator for the type of gas bottle you already own.
2. If you prefer to make your existing screw-on fitting quick release compatible, the 338 Quick Release Coupling can be added for easy click on and off.
3. If you’d like a new hose – or just prefer one that already has the fantastic Cadac quick-release technology, that allows for easy click on and off:

• For Butane tanks: the Cadac LP Butane Clip-On Regulator gives you the quick release, convenient set up to an at home Butane cylinder 
• For propane tanks, the Cadac LP Propane Clip-On Regulator is perfect for Propane cylinders.

If you are starting from scratch – and want to use something smaller on the go – then you can cook with any brand of 500g gas canister, with a standard EN417 screw thread and safety value. Depending on how long of a cook time you want the flame for, you can either:

• Use one 500g self-sealing gas cartridge paired with the Threaded Cartridge Regulator QR, or
• For more power, resulting in a faster heat, two 500g self-sealing gas cartridges can be hooked up to your BBQ using the Dual Power Pack QR.  Any brand of self-sealing 500g canisters of gas can be used.
